Cluster Research Data is set to host the Symposium "Cross-cutting Research Support Services" on the 14th of May 2024 in Vienna, Austria. The event will provide a platform to explore cross-cutting research support services and gain insights from both international and national perspectives.

The symposium taking place from 13:00 to 16:00 CEST will highlight ongoing projects, including 'Shared RDM Services and Infrastructures' and 'ARI&Snet,' presenting European implementation examples and discussing forthcoming challenges. Operational actors in the broader field of research data management, open science, and EOSC activities are encouraged to attend this enlightening event.

FAIRCORE4EOSC: Workshop Hands-on Research Data

During the CRIS2024, FAIRCORE4EOSC is organising the pre-conference for the "Workshop Hands-on Research Data" on May 14th from 9:00 to 12:00 CEST, tailored for operational actors in research data management, open science, and EOSC activities.

Discover European solutions for enhancing research outputs' fairness through the FairCORE4EOSC project. Funded by the European Commission, FAIRCORE4EOSC develops nine services aimed at improving findability, accessibility, and reusability (FAIR) while advancing interoperability.

These services focus on increasing findability through human language search into research object graph data and introducing the Research Activity Identifier (RAiD). Accessibility and reusability are enhanced through improved archival, discovery, and citeability of research source code. Interoperability is furthered through a service for creating, sharing, and operationalising crosswalks between metadata schemas.

Explore beta versions and documentation on the FAIRCORE4EOSC's Components page, with final releases scheduled for spring 2025.

Join our open consultation to adopt these services and provide feedback to refine them for their final release. Learn more on how to contribute to a more open and collaborative scientific landscape with FAIRCORE4EOSC.
